Built by Real Farmers. For Real Farms.
FarmHerd is made by the FarmHerd team: real farmers, building the farm records we want to use ourselves.
The FarmHerd team
We are farmers. We know the days start early, the paperwork comes at the end of them, and the record you need is never on the device in your pocket.
So we built FarmHerd the way we want to farm: everything in one place, quick to record on a phone in the yard, clear to read in the office, and ready when the vet, the buyer or an inspector asks.
See how it works
What we believe
One place for the whole farm
Animals, fields, stores, money, staff and the paperwork belong together, not spread across notebooks, spreadsheets and several apps.
Made for the yard as well as the office
Big buttons on a phone, and recording that keeps working in a shed with no signal, because that is where the work happens.
Your records are yours
Download everything at any time. Your records are never sold, and nobody sees them unless you give them access.
Honest records
Withdrawal dates, ear tags and test results are kept exactly as you record them. FarmHerd does not invent figures, diagnose animals or report to anyone on your behalf.
UK farming first
Pounds, kilograms, litres and hectares; UK ear tags and holding numbers; the BCMS cattle list and the Met Office forecast.
Where FarmHerd is now
FarmHerd is being tried out with its first farms, and it is free while we do. What those farms tell us shapes what comes next.
